Creep Show (support)
Join us for the live launch performance of Creep Show's second album, on Bella Union Records.
Creep Show (a collaboration between John Grant, Stephen Mallinder, Phil Winter and Ben “Benge” Edwards) returns with the launch of their second album Yawning Abyss. The album title raises as many eyebrows as that of their debut album, Mr Dynamite, which was celebrated for its unique upbeat electronica, experimental pop and surreal funk.
With John Grant added to the mix, Creep Show's debut album distilled collective years of musical talent into inspired social commentary, all shaped by sound generated from Ben “Benge” Edwards' lifetime collection of analogue synths and drum machines, along with Stephen Mallinder's Cabaret Voltaire tones and Phil Winter's electronic wizardry.
